D3 exists because the realities of running a small business changed – faster than the systems supporting them.
 
As teams grew leaner and more distributed, technology stopped being a back‑office function and became the infrastructure of how work, risk, and accountability actually play out across the business. Tools multiplied. Stakes increased.
 
But the way work was actually handled didn’t evolve at the same pace
